The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency declares that the Revised Model Class Screening Report for Routine Projects within the Town of Banff and Proximate Outlying Areas (2003) may be used in conducting environmental screenings for specific projects. The report, developed by Parks Canada in cooperation with the Town of Banff, describes how Canadian Environmental Assessment Act requirements will be met before certain types of projects are allowed to proceed. Routine projects covered under the report include: the construction, operation, maintenance and decommissioning/abandonment of buildings, service lines, roads, sidewalks, boardwalks, parking lots, trails, parks, parkettes and recreational grounds within the Town of Banff and certain outlying areas.
