Calgary oilman and financier Murray Edwards has tightened his grip on Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc., Canada's largest privately owned operator of ski resorts, including Lake Louise and Fernie in the west and Mont Sainte Anne in Quebec. Edward's move to cement control of the group he rescued from creditor protection in 2001 will see president Charlie Locke -- who bought the company in the early 1980s -- shift to an advisory role as vice-chairman.
