Among the greatest Hollywood ski films ever made: Ski Lift to Death (1978). “Filmed in Banff, this film hip-checks itself with ChapStick's Suzy Chaffee, Howard Duff as the crime boss, Don Johnson as a pro freestyler who judges a wet T-shirt contest, and the guy who played Gonzo on Trapper John. He is the head ski patrol dude who rescues everybody from cratering in detaching gondola cars. He then chases down a hired assassin.”
