Brushing aside severe weather conditions, Thomas Grandi delivered another stunning comeback run Sunday to climb from 26th into fifth place in a men’s World Cup slalom race in Switzerland. It marked the best result ever in slalom for Grandi, a Bow Valley resident who grew up in Banff, but now lives in Canmore. It was Grandi’s second-best career World Cup performance.
