Avalanche kills three veteran climbers from Seattle area February 14, 2004
By all accounts, John Miner and James Andrues knew more about avalanches than most other mountaineers. They scaled peaks all over the globe, were regulars on Mount Rainier and, for a decade, volunteered with Tacoma Mountain Rescue.
