Banff history book cover art a prize unto itself

Bob Clarke, a member of the Banff History Book Committee, said many of Banff 's former residents have done a good job at getting their stories to the committee, but so far the number of stories from current Banff locals is thin. Banff artist Bern Smith, chair of the committee, has painted a watercolour of the classic view of Banff Avenue looking towards Cascade Mountain that will be used on the book's dust jacket.
