All signs point towards a smoking ban in Banff by the end of May. Though the majority of town council members refused to debate the issue following hours of input at a bylaw public hearing Monday, most made it clear they were in favour of a 100 per cent smoking ban in Banff’s enclosed public spaces, including the town’s bars.
