An Edmonton doctor has launched a $620,000 lawsuit against Sunshine Village, claiming he was hurt skiing the bunny hill when he wiped out on a snowboarding half-pipe. In a March 24 statement of claim, Dr. Nigel Flook, named the 1998 Canadian and Albertan Family Physician of the Year, alleges resort operators are responsible for his injuries because they failed to post warnings about the half-pipe.
