Ski challenge raises cash for cystic fibrosis

On Friday and Saturday, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise played host to hundreds of guests from across the country to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Toshiba Breath of Life Celebrity Ski Invitational, created by Olympic alpine skier and Crazy Canuck Ken Read. Last year, the ski challenge raised more than $337,000. Today, Read and corporate sponsor Toshiba will present a cheque for more than $340,000 to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at the Lake Louise ski area.
