Planned burn near Radium rained out

Parks Canada has missed its window of opportunity for one of the seven prescribed burns it had planned for the Lake Louise, Yoho and Kootenay areas of the national parks. On April 14 a proposed 90-ha. meadow burn at the Redstreak area near Radium was scrubbed because of rain, and by the time the rain went away the grasses had turned green and the moment had passed.
