The Town of Canmore will be facing competition from Banff in its quest for a significant share of the remaining $16 million in provincial Centennial Legacies Grant funding. Banff plans to apply for a legacy grant for its proposed $5 million Community Centre, a project that has been in the recreation master plan for about 15 years and on the Town's five-year capital budget horizon for two years.
