Banff and Lake Louise are hot spots for grizzly deaths in Alberta

Scott Nielsen studied almost 300 grizzly fatalities over the past 31 years in Alberta to create a detailed map of grizzly death hotspots across the province. Two of the biggest hotspots are Banff and Lake Louise, inside a national park where they're supposed to be protected. However, grizzly deaths are dropping in the park thanks to special animal overpasses to keep bears and other animals off the road.
