When Aron Rolston returns to Banff this fall for the Banff Mountain Festivals, he’ll be in the spotlight rather than behind the scenes. In 2002 he was a volunteer cameraman and assistant. This year he'll be on stage as a special guest. In April 2003, Rolston amputated his own arm with a pocketknife and hiked to safety after being pinned under a boulder in Utah for five days.
