Fencing for bears not a current option in Jasper National Park August 11, 2004
Parks Canada’s proposal to build a fence around Lake Louise wouldn’t have any implications on Jasper National Park policy if that idea became a reality. Jasper National Park is home mostly to black bears and doesn’t have huge numbers of grizzlies - the type of bear that has been milling about the hamlet of Lake Louise near Banff.
