Deadline for parks deal looms August 12, 2004
Venturing into national parks could be free if federal employees tasked with working their gates go on strike tomorrow. But long lineups and the cancellation of some programs will be among the less desirable outcomes if Parks Canada fails to reach a new collective agreement by midnight tonight with 4,800 of its unionized staff.
