Parks worker dies after fall into canyon

A 19-year-old parks worker who went on a late-night hike fell to her death in Johnson Canyon Falls Saturday. Brad White, public safety specialist at Banff National Park says three friends went for a walk around midnight when one woman became separated from the group.White says it appears she climbed over a protective railing, slipped and fell into the canyon. The woman had been a summer employee at the Johnson Canyon campground for two summers and was familiar with the trail.
