Jeffrey Robert Martin bled to death on a Jasper mountain despite the heroic efforts of two fellow-medical students. The 26-year-old second-year University of Calgary faculty of medicine student was climbing with three others Sunday morning when a shower of soccer ball-sized rocks rained down on him and a female companion.
