Cyclist scares off cougar in Jasper

Mountain biker Wes Fluker was following animal trails a kilometre from the golf course at Jasper Park Lodge around dusk on Wednesday when he was stopped in his tracks by a cougar. "We came face to face, and I surprised him and he surprised me," Fluker, 32, said Friday. "I got off my bike and he was in the bush a little bit, and I thought we were going to look at each other.
