Voters in Banff-Cochrane brought back MLA Janis Tarchuk for a third term, but with a finer margin than her 70 per cent share of the popular vote in 2001. Regardless, the Conservative incumbent said she wasn’t worried about her apparent slide in the polls to only 53 per cent of the popular vote in Monday’s election.
