Calgary recovering lost tourist dollars but Banff still lagging November 27, 2004
International tourists are coming back to Alberta after a number of recent scares kept travellers closer to home. But while Calgary's tourism numbers are especially healthy, the situation in Banff is somewhat less rosy. Tourism Calgary says the city has rebounded from September 11th and from last year's dismal numbers. But in Banff, the town is still having problems attracting tourists.
