Banff looking for 5.5 per cent tax increase

The Town of Banff has drafted a 2005 budget that forecasts a 5.5 per cent tax increase, a move that could tack an additional $50 a year onto homeowners’ bills and $650 a year onto commercial businesses worth $1 million.
