Cold weather puts the freeze on ski hill profits

But while this year was supposed to be a banner year on the slopes, the bitter cold is biting into profits. It has been much too cold to ski and some hills have been forced to close down. Some tourists were disappointed to find Nakiska closed on Friday due to the cold weather. Mount Norquay in Banff was also turning skiers away.
