Feds commit $8 million to environment projects

The federal government is pumping $8-million into environmental projects in and around the community of Lake Louise, Environment Minister Stephane Dion announced yesterday. Dion said the funds, to go to Parks Canada over the next five to seven years, will address traffic congestion and wildlife movement issues while restoring grizzly bear habitat and improving the trail system.
