Leave Banff as is, some residents say February 23, 2005
Some Banff residents are upset that their mayor is requesting the federal government revisit restrictions that cap business growth, saying the mountain town is already too commercial. Banff Mayor John Stutz wants Ottawa to look at expanding the amount of commercial space allowed, arguing that the 350,000 square-foot cap prevents the town from adding essential services.
