Canada’s Thomas Grandi still has a shot to win the overall giant slalom title, he’s just chasing a different leader after Saturday’s World Cup event. Benjamin Raich led an Austrian 1-2 finish that moved him atop the discipline’s overall standings. Grandi, a native of Banff, was sixth but held his second-place position in the standings. He's just 21 points behind Raich, who moved into first place with 363 points.
