Bar Watch organizers asks Town for funding

Banff’s Bar Watch program is proving successful in cracking down on late night noise and unruly patrons to make the tourist town safer after dark. But the organizers of the program, believed to be the first of its kind in Canada to have a direct link to local RCMP via special radios, say they need funding help. The Banff Bar Watch Society is asking Banff council to consider matching any funding raised by the private sector, up to $10,000.
