Banff businesses worried about change in rent structure March 17, 2005
Parks Canada is proposing to calculate the amount of land rent paid by businesses based solely on gross income, sparking fears about the rising costs of doing business in Banff National Park. Charging a percentage of gross revenue is presently one of four options available to businesses operating on public land outside the Banff townsite, but Parks wants to make it the only option.
