A Federal Court of Appeal ruling has given new life to a lengthy and bitter battle by Canada's national park wardens to carry handguns for protection on the job. A panel of three justices on May 6 set aside a 2002 decision that had said a warden's job description did not constitute danger under a strict Canada Labour Code definition.
