Parks officials say caribou not in danger from prescribed burn May 18, 2005
Parks Canada officials say a small herd of endangered caribou is not at risk from a prescribed burn taking place near Banff. Some naturalists worry the caribou are too close to the burn site however officials say the animals are being closely monitored and that steps have been taken to ensure their safety.
