Mayor Stutz pleads economic weakness to counter Park fee hikes

Banff Mayor John Stutz is no fan of raising park gate fees and he went to Ottawa to convey that message. He presented to the standing committee on environment and sustainable development on Wednesday of last week and told members that a recovering tourism economy is still too weak for the Town of Banff to condone an increase in park entry fees.
