The trail along which Canmore runner Isabelle Dubé died has been under what provincial parks officials have deemed a voluntary closure, because it's been deemed to interfere with habitat used by large carnivores, including grizzlies and cougars.Known as the Upper Benchlands Trail, it’s a favourite with mountain bikers, but is also used by joggers and hikers.
