Parks Canada has no immediate plans to change its management of grizzly bears in the wake of a fatal bear attack in nearby Canmore, but is keeping close tabs on a mamma grizzly bear and her three cubs hanging out near Banff. Bear 66, famous for strolling down Banff Avenue several years ago, is being monitored from dawn to dusk as she skirts around the fringes of town, and is hazed away whenever she ventures dangerously close to people or busy areas.
