The Town of Banff has been given a clear threat of legal action if council endorses a dramatic shift in policy to allow the transfer of unused commercial space won in the annual lottery. On July 18, lawyer Daron Naffin told council that Charlton Resorts would be “left with no choice but to seek relief from the courts” if the contentious bylaw change is approved.
