Brills’ high-jump reunion hits bar at World Masters Games July 26, 2005
Not since the two were in high school had Connie and Debbie Brill competed together, but here they were, at the World Masters Games in Edmonton, 33 years and seven children later, preparing for the high-jump event for women 50 to 55 years of age. Connie, of Banff, claimed the gold with her jump of 1.40 metres in front of cheering family and friends. Other news for July 2005 |
