Feds get behind bigger red serge program

A new pilot program has been set up in Banff for Mounties in red serge to meet and greet tourists to enhance the image of the RCMP and the famed tourist resort. Approved by Ottawa, the RCMP has entered into an agreement with Banff Lake Louise Tourism to have retired Mounties attend tour groups and convention functions in a paid capacity.
