Banff wardens were forced to close the Sundance Canyon trail on July 27 after a wellknown grizzly bear returned with her three cubs to feast on buffalo berries in the area. The temporary closure of the busy area aims to give bear 66 and her cubs ample space and security as well as protect people against a potentially dangerous encounter.
