Ontario man dies after leap from Norquay overpass

A personal tragedy ended the life of a 61-year-old man and brought traffic to a halt in the westbound lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway on July 28. Banff RCMP said the man, whom they did not name, died as a result of his injuries after he jumped off the Norquay Road overpass onto the westbound Trans-Canada around 8:45 a.m.
