Sole surviving offspring of Bear 66 heading to the zoo September 9, 2005
Parks Canada officials have captured a cub who is the only surviving offspring of Bear 66. The remaining cub is is good condition and arrangements are being made to transport it to the Calgary Zoo. It will remain there in a temporary holding facility until a more permanent home can be found. Other news for September 2005 |
