A man who helped stop a fleeing murder suspect disappeared before police could thank him on Tuesday. RCMP say Quebec police issued a Canada-wide warrant early this month after a man allegedly breached conditions of his release while waiting to face a murder charge in Montreal. Staff Sgt. Bill Young said the Banff detachment was notified Monday that the suspect might be in the community, and officers later determined that he was scheduled to show up for a shift at a local restaurant on Tuesday
