Police have halted the search for an Edmonton paramedic who didn't return from a solo climbing expedition on one of the highest peaks in the Canadian Rockies. Columbia Valley RCMP Sgt. Neil Cross said after scouring the Mount Assiniboine area for three days for Darryl Dow, the search-and-rescue team met with police Saturday night and decided there was no advantage to continuing the search.
