Muckle pleads guilty to vicious assault September 19, 2005
After changing his mind a couple of times Monday, a drifter has pleaded guilty to beating and sexually assaulting a 20-year-old hotel worker and leaving her to die in a Banff park in July. Albert Gordon Muckle faces a possible 25-year prison sentence for attempted murder and aggravated assault. If the crown succeeds in having him labelled a dangerous offender, he will remain behind bars indefinitely. Other news for September 2005 |
