Matt Rebelo was stabbed five times by his roommate Francis Mathieu in Banff in April, 2003, and nearly died. Mathieu was originally sentenced to two years curfew at his parent’s house. Rebelo’s brother is raising money to make a documentary about conditional sentencing of criminals.
