Parks contamination probe nears completion

Parks Canada is close to wrapping up its investigation of several possible contaminated sites in and around Banff, including the Banff Public Library and a residential area near Whiskey Creek. The federal agency is looking for petroleum hydrocarbons, pesticides, heavy metals and PCBs in 10 areas identified in 1992 as having potential contamination.
