Chandra Crawford, a 22-year-old Canmore native is one of two women and two men who have been nominated through the alternate qualifying criteria, along with the eight pre-qualified athletes, to compete in the winter Olympics in Turin. Phil Widmer of Banff was also nominated. He was the second-highest ranked Canadian in the World Cup sprint competition at Sovereign Lake two weeks ago.
