Upon conclusion of the 2006 Pontiac GMC Championships in Whistler two athletes – Paul Stutz of Banff, Alberta, and Veronique Archambault-Leger of Montreal – were each awarded top prize in the combined event, which combined athletes times in the downhill and both slalom runs to determine a champion.
