A Canadian wildlife scientist is concerned that efforts by Washington to tighten border security between Canada and the U.S. could "wreak havoc" with wildlife movements across the 49th parallel Paul Paquet, a wolf specialist with the University of Calgary, says grizzlies, wolves, deer, foxes and caribou travel freely across the U.S.-Canada border, so any effort to restrict that border could have dire environmental consequences for them.
