Thomas Grandi stepped outside of his ski-racer role this week to help sell a Mount Norquay summer operation proposal designed to rescue the failing Banff ski resort. The plan includes a gondola to the mountain’s teahouse, interpretive and education programs, live theatre, and conservation youth camps, and is hoped to reverse a financial trend that threatens to close the ski operation.
